I recommend this book to anyone who wants a bit more from of a romance novel than the usual...I got angry, cried, laughed, thought about my own life-- all the way to the surprising end. Wish I had had a friend like David when I was raising my child alone. Looking forward to the sequel. Gena

                                   Loved this book.The short chapters are page turners. The economy of words, even at 343 pages, accurately reflects the cultural mix of our contemporary society, through a range of characters that become the reader's friends. South Florida was deliciously described. AN INDULGENT CHOICE is great read and testifies to the author's talent. Can't wait for the sequel. Nicola Wow...I cried like Clair was my own mother...An Indulgent Choice is an amazing book. I felt what the flawed wonderful characters felt. I recommended it to a friend, and couldn't wait for her to finish. We discussed it for hours and picked it for our book club Jena
